There’s an old saying which states behind every good man there is a good woman. Now that may or may not be strictly true, but let me suggest that behind every saint that has dared to believe GOD and attempt great things for Him, there are others that have gone before and helped inspire them to do just that.
For example, Joshua had Moses and Elisha had Elijah. In both these cases it could be argued that the students were more successful than their masters. May we too, humbly learn at the feet of great saints in our day, so that we may accomplish the “greater works” Jesus said we would do as disciples of the Most High GOD.
Here is a list of the saints that have most impacted my life. I hope it will help inspire those who have never read these giants of faith and galvanise them into action for GOD. The lessons of these saints have stayed with me through the years. In each case I can point to life changing breakthroughs which occurred as a direct result of reading their works. These disciples will change your life if you allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you through their examples, and I still return to their books (especially Watchman Nee) to this day.
The Christian poem which follows is written by Stevina Southwell, a lady on God’s Big Plan For Your Life email list. I know she spends precious hidden time in prayer and spiritual warfare, and she has discovered a major key in unlocking GOD’s favour and answer to prayer… it’s simply praying at midnight. Look through the Bible at all the things that happen at midnight and ask the LORD to teach you about it, you will be blessed by what you find, I am sure.
That when Satan sees you, He sees Jesus first, because our lives are “HIDDEN with Christ in GOD” (Col3:3). Just think about how powerful that is for a moment! Satan knows his only way to defeat you is to KEEP YOU FROM FULLY UNDERSTANDING THIS TRUTH because once you know it, his deception is over.
Then you become impossible to defeat by his lies… in fact you start putting Satan’s forces into panic. THEY become the ones on the back foot, and retreat because you begin to devastate their works, just like Jesus did while He was here on earth, going about doing good and healing all who were OPPRESSED of the Devil (Act’s 10:38).
Therefore…
No matter what you face, know you are IN JESUS, just as if you are inside at the top of a mighty fortress looking down at your enemy far below, and Jesus is standing right there beside you… smiling, because He knows, that by this stage YOU ALSO KNOW YOU HAVE THE VICTORY! Just stay in the citadel of GOD (Castle Jesus), and keep pouring boiling OIL over the walls down upon the heads of your enemy far, far below, because the weapons of your warfare are not carnal, but they are MIGHTY through GOD to destroy him as you do.
The OIL is the Holy Anointing OIL of the Holy Spirit’s prayer in, through and with you, the more you pray directed by Him, the more it destroys the heads of your enemies… who are far beneath your feet in Jesus.

One last thing; when you put the Armour of GOD on and walk towards your adversary, what does he see?
Answer:
He sees someone covered HEAD TO FOOT IN GOD’S Armour coming right at him!
Because of that YOU LOOK LIKE GOD to Satan… and he is terrified you are going to find that out! (That’s why David had such confidence against Goliath btw – he knew he was COVERED by his Heavenly Father even in battle).
Finally… think about this. JESUS IS YOUR ARMOUR ITSELF! Wow!
Arise dear one and be of good cheer! Jesus is on your side!
Hi everyone, it’s been a while since I wrote an article, so this is an update for members of GOD’s Big Plan For Your Life really, but I’ve actually been in the trenches working away furiously 24/7 on a special project that involves a totally new way of doing evangelism, (it even works for shy Christians and congregations too, which is so cool) that up until even a couple of years ago just was not possible.
So far it’s taken nearly a year to research, test drive various platforms, and finally set up this brand new system. All the while we’ve been seeking GOD’s heart and trying to stay in step with Him, so that we can meticulously follow out His EXACT PLAN TO SAVE SOULS TO THE LETTER! Initial pilot tests are now complete and the response from some African Churches here in UK who have had the first previews has been fabulous.
Anyhow, more about that on another occasion, because that’s not what this article is about primarily.
Is Jesus really Jewish? And what’s this about Auschwitz?
It’s a funny thing that has always intrigued me… though I’m a Gentile, I’ve always been very surprised at the blindness of some very prominent Christians as to who Jesus really is.
The classic example of this is Martin Luther of course, and his name is important when it comes to Auschwitz as you will see in a moment.
Martin Luther wrote a book called “The Jews and Their Lies” in 1543 in which his strong anti-semitism was given full voice. Here are a couple of extracts to give you a feel…
“What shall we Christians do with this rejected and condemned people, the Jews?
I shall give you my sincere advice:
First to set fire to their synagogues or schools and to bury and cover with dirt whatever will not burn, so that no man will ever again see a stone or cinder of them. This is to be done in honor of our Lord and of Christendom, so that God might see that we are Christians, and do not condone or knowingly tolerate such public lying, cursing, and blaspheming of his Son and of his Christians.
Second, I advise that their houses also be razed and destroyed. For they pursue in them the same aims as in their synagogues. Instead they might be lodged under a roof or in a barn, like the gypsies. This will bring home to them that they are not masters in our country, as they boast, but that they are living in exile and in captivity, as they incessantly wail and lament about us before God.”
Pretty serious stuff eh?
So I wonder just how on earth Martin Luther “Father of Faith” for the Reformation etc could make such a huge leap into anti-semitism when Jesus Himself was crucified “King of the Jews” and came from the Davidic line, the Tribe of Judah?
One thing is for certain. There is absolutely NO DOUBT that Hitler wrote Mein Kampf based on his great admiration for Martin Luther, which directly led to the Holocaust, and that he saw himself as a good Christian. Here is what Hitler thought of his Christian faith…
“Hence today I believe that I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator: by defending myself against the Jew, I am fighting for the work of the Lord.”
Today I wonder, how many Christians are quietly allowing themselves to despise the Jews, especially as things hot up in the Middle East and Iran arms itself to the teeth ready to attack Israel. I pray that Christians everywhere, truly understand who Jesus really is…
“Yeshua Ha Maschiach” (Jesus the Messiah).
He was crucified as King of the Jews in Jerusalem, and nothing will ever change that, and as a final last point… have you ever noticed that in the Book of Revelation God says that the New Jerusalem has twelve foundations named after the twelve tribes of Israel?
Seems like God doesn’t have a problem with Jews then… so if you are a Christian, neither should you, because if you do, you may just end up siding with those who may pursue policies hell bent on sending Jews away on new Death Trains.
If you think that’s far fetched, look at the turmoil of the nations and study the Bible and you will see, it’s not far fetched at all. And Iran could be the very nation that tips us towards a new holocaust. All these things herald the very soon return of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus the Messiah of Israel, our Lord and Master.
