The Separation

The Separation

Have you noticed this year is very different yet?

As we entered 2011 on New Years Eve, I realised something profound was going to take place from this year onwards.

Not in the sense of a jolly, New Year resolution kind of way, but rather a prophetic perception something very significant was coming to pass.

Now, some nine months on, I understand very clearly what had been laid on my spirit at the gateway of 2011. Initially I cautiously peeked into what God was showing me with a certain foreboding, but it is very clear to me now what is happening and I thank God for that.

Do you not perceive the times are changing?

  • Riots in London.
  • Earthquakes.
  • Economic collapse.
  • Strange weather patterns that are terrifying many.
  • Unchecked violence and accelerating wickedness in many places.
  • Poison, pollution, destruction everywhere.
  • Middle East in flames.

WARNING:

We have entered the separation.

All of us are included, whether we know it or not.

It does not matter which theology you hold; liberal, conservative, Pentecostal, Methodist, Charismatic or Baptist. It’s nothing to do with theology, it’s to do with you.

You see, God makes a distinction.

He always does.

Way back in Exodus He made a distinction, between the Egyptians and the children of Israel, and it’s the same now.

Today however, this distinction is between those who call themselves His children.

We who call ourselves Christians are those who need to pay very careful attention to what the Lord has now set in motion. It is unstoppable. God has begun the separation that Jesus warned us of in the Gospel over 2000 years ago…

“All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.” (Matthew 25 v 32 NKJV)

The Prophet Ezekiel had also spoken of a similar separation hundreds of years before Christ in Ezekiel 34 v 17…

“And as for you, O My flock, thus says the Lord GOD: ‘Behold, I shall judge between sheep and sheep, between rams and goats.'” (Ezekiel 34 v 17 NKJV)

Today, it is my perception that God has already begun this process of separation between those who are his sheep, and those who may attend Church, yet do not truly live for Jesus alone. It may be almost imperceptible to some, but this process has begun nonetheless.

The Apostle Paul speaks of this process as a great “falling away” or apostasy (2 Thessalonians 2 V 3). I believe with all my heart that this process has started.

If you are a Christian, then it’s vital that from now on, each day you live completely sold out for Jesus. Unless you live like this for Him, you will not be able to withstand what will shortly come upon this earth. Terribly difficult times will come to all. Only Christians will understand and know what to do.

And the only way you can live so that you overcome this world in these dark times and honour God by your life is through being FULL of the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

Get this…

God is VERY particular as to who He gives His Holy Spirit to.

In the Old Testament holy anointing oil consecrated the priests for service before God. This holy oil was a picture of the Holy Spirit. If anyone was to use this special oil for any other purpose, they were to be cut off from God’s people (Exodus 30 v 22-33).

And remember in a parable Jesus said only the WISE would enter heaven with Him.

And who are the wise?

Those FULL of the Holy Spirit, bright and shining for His glory.

Here is how Jesus puts it…

“Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

“Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

“Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.”

(Matthew 25 v 1-13 NKJV)

Do you have the “Holy Oil” of GOD in you today?

Has it made you ‘wise’ as to what is happening all around you, so you are not confused by all the fear and confusion surrounding us?

Does the oil of the Holy Spirit warm and light your way each day?

Be sure; if you are full of God’s Holy Spirit, and are careful to obey His leading, then the light of this oil will burn brightly through you and Jesus will say He knows you when He returns.

It is my firm conviction that we have entered the “hour of separation” in which Jesus is drawing to Himself those who are truly His. To those, He is revealing deep truths for His glory and giving them the power to overcome and get the job done that He has given them through the life and power of His Holy Spirit.

Elsewhere the falling away is happening already.

So many Churches are filled with apathy, bitterness, rivalry, power struggles, hearts of stone, lifeless worship, show and outward holiness or in some circles gross counterfeit displays of signs and wonders that glorify people instead of God, and open the door for spirits of deception to oppress Christians, rather than liberate them.

God will continue to allow all this, including letting the invisible work of the evil one silently entice Church goers with weak foundations into leaving their first love. They will turn their back on the Cross that saved them and venture into the thrill of the night, little knowing that they will never return.

It is time to seek the Lord.

It is time to walk with Him in holiness, love and sincerity.

It is time to weep and wail before God with penitent, contrite hearts and cry out for His mercy to cleanse, cover and restore us. It is time to get issues dealt with in honesty and humility, so God will heal, and empower true Christians to be healthy, whole and upright. Then go forth and win souls for Jesus.

It is time to deal with God.
