2 ways to wholeness

Dear overcomer,
Of a surety.
The Holy Spirit is our witness…
Our days are surging upwards to meet Jesus face to face.
So what’s left for us to do?
Get ready.
Occupy until Jesus returns*. Share the gospel. Help folks flee the wrath to come. Comfort the weak. Encourage brothers and sisters.
Keep our lamps burning. Full of Holy oil. Then we will see clearly to meet Jesus as He returns for us with great joy.
Purify ourselves as we add the final touches to our wedding clothes.
And in return, because we are getting ourselves ready for His Son’s great day, GOD rewards us with blessing for our life here too.
One such blessing is...
Wholeness.
Inner completeness.
Well being.
Of being completely human. Entire. Whole. At peace.
Shalom with GOD. Harmony with ourselves and others.
Wholeness.
The world can’t have it.
But you can.
So.
Here are two ways to get whole. And they both work fab.
Let’s do the ‘hard one’ first.
This scripture is the doorway for us into liberty and peace...
“But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
James 1:4 KJV
Or as the ESV says…
“And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
James 1:4 ESV
Quite astonishing promises...
Perfect.
Entire.
Complete.
And more wonderfully still...
Wanting nothing.
Lacking nothing.
Patience.
It gifts us saints a massive superpower.
For make no bones about it...
Considering what lies ahead shortly for Christians, we will need to endure patiently more than at any time in history. For evil is being prepared against us at every turn.
Of course many brothers and sisters suffer horrifically already…
Globally 5,621 Christians were killed for their faith last year. Approximately 15 a day. And 2110 Churches attacked too.
May the LORD help us remain faithful should our turn arrive.
These things must come to pass.
Don't fear.
Instead, prepare now.
And ensure patience is central in your life.
Stay steadfast.
Your reward is certain. Your wholeness too.
Okay,
Now let’s look at another way to receive complete wholeness.
The Apostle Paul reveals it to us…
"For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
And you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power."
Colossians 2: 9-10 NKJV
Alternatively you could read it as...
“You are WHOLE in Him.”
Next though...
Peter expands this glorious truth even more, with astounding words from the Spirit of GOD. (Precious one, SEIZE such words. Meditate upon them. They HEAL YOU).
"His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue,
By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature."
2 Peter 1:3-5 NKJV
And what is the nature of this 'divine nature' we are so blessed to be invited into?
Well it is...
Perfect. Full of power. Effortless.
Deeply at peace with itself. Serene.
Whole and in perfect harmony.
Deeply satisfied. No needs.
Complete, without fear.
And way more than any human can write about besides.
Yet here's the thing...
All this harmony of spirit, soul and even body is waiting for us right now.
Tucked away for every true saint of GOD.
You dear saint get it all.
How?
Through the knowledge of Him (2 Peter: 1b) and also... by (believing and receiving) these great and precious promises we become partakers of the divine nature.
Receive it. PARTAKE of it all.
And theres only one condition. Abide in Jesus.*
Our completeness. Our wholeness...
It is all in Jesus.
Then the process of DIVINE OSMOSIS works. Wholeness starts flowing into us by the Holy Spirit… and grows and grows… endlessly.
Mind.
Spirit.
Soul.
All these things and far more get added to us.
Or.
As Jesus puts it another way...
“But seek FIRST his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
(Matthew 6:33 KJV).
Again. You get it all. Just as Jesus promises.
"Er... Where exactly is the Kingdom of GOD again? I don't really know where to find it?”
Okay,
The connection between the Kingdom of GOD and your inner wellbeing, your wholeness... your harmony as a human being made in the image of GOD…
Both internally and externally is this…
"The kingdom of GOD is... righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit."
Romans 14:17 NKJV
Notice that BIG tiny word again?
The small hinge that swings open vast spiritual doors for us?
The word...
IN.
For this case, "In the Holy Spirit."
Your sense of wellbeing.
Righteousness. Peace and joy... are all in IN HIM.
GOD is one.
Father. Spirit. Son.
And so as you can see from above, your wholeness is IMPOSSIBLE outside of Him.
It won't matter...
How much counselling you get.
How many folks lay hands on you or pray.
How many demons are cast out...
You won't be whole UNLESS you abide (dwell, live, stay) in Him habitually.
Or,
As Jesus tells us the same thing again, yet another way.
He says...
"One thing is needed" (Luke 10:42 NKJV)
Mary got it. She dumped everything else.
And just sat down at His feet. (She got it, Martha didn’t).
The question is…
Forget Mary. Martha. Paul. Peter etc.
Do you need wholeness?
Then,
Jesus asks you too...
"Will you be made whole?" (John 5:6 KJV)
Then come to Him.
Stay with Him.
And be made whole in the Name of Jesus.
