Fresh manna dear one
For a strong blameless life
Hi overcomer.
This morning as I came to the end of prayer, the LORD dropped a lovely morsel of manna into my heart.
A nugget of grace to help the saint grow strong.
First to our well known scripture…
“The words I speak to you are spirit and they are life.”
John 6:63 NKJV
Which begs the question...
What are words exactly?
Here’s my thought,
As humans we are tripartite beings (spirit, soul and body as per 1 Thessalonians 5:23) yet I suggest…
“Words are utterances (the breath) of A SPIRITUAL BEING expressing themself… both in the physical (for some) and SPIRITUAL WORLD at the same time”*
Of course 'The Word' Himself made everything...
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made."
John 1:1 NKJV
Furthermore, Jesus says words even decide...
Er... everything in life?
“But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Matthew 12: 37-38 NKJV.
Important eh?
So if what John says of you (in relation to Jesus below) is true...
“As He is so also are we in this world.”
1 John 4:17 ESV
What does that mean regarding the power of YOUR WORDS?
Could your words even…
Create things,
IF spoken under the direction and power of the Holy Spirit?
I suggest yup! And therefore...
Our words are spirit too.
So here's the thing...
Yes, we are human. Yet we are SPIRITS too. Our words are also spiritual. Therefore we should be cautious about what we say.
Caution because, there are three sources our words flow from… Our spirit. God’s spirit. Other spirits. Evil spirits try to get us to speak their will out loud. Their lies. Their evil. Instead we resist them. We speak words in line with GOD’s wishes.
To be sure your words last eternally... and are not just a jumble of all three spiritual domains as in point two... SPEAK OUT LOUD the words of GOD every day as much as possible.
Doing so we act like our Heavenly Father.
And.
We CALL INTO BEING things which are not… As though they were, just as He does.
GOD does this a lot.
Like with His friend Abraham…
“As it is written, “I have made you the father of many nations”—in the presence of the God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and CALLS INTO EXISTENCE the things that do not exist.”
Romans 4: 17 ESV
The LORD called a son into being for him as he believed and agreed with GOD. As a result Abraham obtained eternal favour.
“Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.”
Romans 4:3 ESV
And the LORD makes us the same promise too…
‘But the words “it was counted to him” were not written for his sake alone, but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord, who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.’
Romans 4:23-25 ESV
To conclude.
If you want something,
FIRST establish it in the spirit.
By your words.
Out loud ;)
Furthermore.
Due to the authority Jesus gives us as saints,
We can CURTAIL the activity and works of other spirit beings. We cancel and nullify their words, BY OUR WORDS.
We establish SPIRITUAL boundaries in the spirit... (In cooperation with the Holy Spirit and Word of GOD of course)...
Boundaries the enemy cannot cross...
“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.
Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
Luke 10:19-20 ESV
And so,
We establish good areas (in the spirit realm) and release blessing, favour and breakthrough on behalf of others by SPEAKING IN THE SPIRIT for them.
Suddenly.
We discover the splendid scripture...
“Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
Matthew 16:19 ESV
Works for us too.
And,
Often those we are praying for have no idea someone has established blessings for them in the spirit.
They just receive.
All very good.
Because,
GOD gets the glory, not us.

Moses gave it to Joshua as a foolproof way to establish victory in both domains. The spiritual as well as the physical.
“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth,
But you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it.
For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:8-9 ESV.
Finally.
Here is a simple prayer to activate the type of faith Moses encouraged Joshua to exercise above...
“Father in Heaven, I believe your Word (concerning X,Y,Z).
I receive your word (concerning X,Y,Z)
And I agree with your word (concerning XYZ) in the Name of Jesus Christ.
May it be established in the earth as it is already in heaven now.
I agree with what YOU SAY ABOUT THIS LORD!
Thank you for all your goodness to me...
In Jesus' Name.
Amen.”
Never forget the impact your words are making
"Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit."

Because you dear saint,
Are a spirit.
In an earth suit (your body).
Yet one who speaks in both realms.
As such...
"Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."
1 Thessalonians 5:23 ESV

*'Ruach' = Hebrew for spirit/breath. Same as 'pneuma' in Greek.
*Mark 4:14,15 - 20 NKJV (Sowing Gods words in particular, see also the ‘Word of the kingdom’ of GOD (Matthew 13:18,19, 23).
*Spiritual beings include: GOD, gods i.e. Spirits worshipped as 'gods' = demons. And of course we humans are spiritual beings too.
