Wait for air support

Before you see the word from the LORD below,

Don't ever forget...

People depend on you.

Your prayer packs a punch way beyond what you perhaps realise. Even whispering it works.

Take for example...

Queen Elizabeth II.

(For a second ignore her privilege, wealth etc)...

Here in England she believed God ordained her role as 'Defender of the Faith' and took it very seriously.

Her prayers carried great clout in heaven...

"The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness."

[Or “the fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful”;

Greek... “is very powerful in its working.” ]

James 5:6 NET.

And so,

Here in the U.K.

The morning after the Queens death, we sensed a huge shift in the spirit. We knew our country had changed overnight. Not for the better either.

I said to my wife...

"There is no sovereign spiritual 'covering' over the UK now.

It's like the skies have suddenly opened to the 'Prince of the power of the air' and his minions. It feels as if our country is about to be invaded and sucked into a black hole'"

Close friends and prayer partners felt the same.

And so it's proved since...

Great Britain has been plunged into darkness.

Everywhere you look...

Our nation is in a terrible state.

Huge pressure on desperate families.

Christians and Jews are increasingly being targeted too.

Our Police are even arresting us for 'thought crimes' now.

See for yourself...

What was the 'crime' this faithful sister was accused of?

Praying silently... (though she only said she 'might have been, in her mind').

Yup.

This is Great Britain now.

So,

It seems the Queen held back a vast tide of evil by her simple faith.

Hence we see what one woman of faith, strategically placed by GOD into her position, can do by remaining faithful.

By prayer.

And it's the same with you and I.

A month ago,

A period of intense spiritual warfare came upon me for two weeks.

It was tough.

The battle was so multi-faceted and intense.

Everywhere I looked seemed bleak. News. Business. Finance. Family. Illness. Trouble multiplying from nowhere.

Still.

What to do LORD?

As ever,

He is faithful...

One night I was reminded of Elijah when he called in 'Air Support'...

"So Elijah answered and said to them, “If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty men.” And the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty."

2 Kings I:12 NKJV

As I thought of this scripture I started laughing with joy.

And so I decided I'd 'copy Elijah' and 'call in Air Support' too. By asking GOD to send His angels to take down the opposition in the spirit. “Send fire on them Father!”

Fire from heaven!

And so I did for the next few nights.

All the while trusting GOD would come through.

Then all of a sudden one night.

I knew it. We were 'through'...

The sky was clear. (Assurance answers on their way).

Since then amazing answers to prayer have arrived for us.

Praise GOD.

Therefore...

As I came out of a the last prayer session of that time... I felt I should share the 'Battle Report' I got from our 'Great Air Commander Jesus' with a mighty prayer warrior.

When he saw it he replied...

"Wow. So that's what's been going on!"

Here’s the message I sent him. I hope it encourages you…

Praise the LORD!

Our Great King laughs at His enemies... and yours. So call in Air Support, sit back and laugh with Him, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit… it does a soul real good!

"He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision."

Psalm 2:4 ESV

Remember...

Nobody can stop you when you pray... and just don't stop.

Call IN AIR SUPPORT. And wait for your help to arrive.

Trust as you wait. Be at peace. It will arrive.
