This week…
Beloved saint of the Most High remember this simple truth, today and forever.
Rejoice in it’s sheer force over your foes in the spiritual realm.
Why?
It’s the bedrock of all your victory.
The foundation on which all your victory is set.
Yet the funny thing is it’s based on your sin…
And my sin.
Especially all our dread ‘never tell anyone’ type sins.
So yes,
The splendid victory which depresses the heck out of your enemy… cannot be separated from your sin.
The opposite actually,
Your sin completely demoralises him. And when you speak to him about it as you’ll see below he just can’t take it. And so he leaves you alone.
Here’s how it works…
You sin. I sin.
Nothing to rejoice about. Yet conversely it’s nothing to whip yourself over either.
Of course beloved John makes clear we all sin…
“If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
1 John 1:8-10 ESV
No true saint wants to sin.
That’s obvious.
Sadly a common pattern stalks many Christians (though they repent and are forgiven)…
Sin > Death enters > Emptiness > Aloneness (feel cut off, can’t feel GOD’s presence) > Guilt > Condemnation > Shame.
The enemy starts his taunts…
“You sinner! Look what you just did. You sinned. You said you would never do X,Y,Z because you love GOD. Call yourself a Christian? Well there you go… you sinned and you can’t stop sinning. And I’m going to tell everyone.”
Sound familiar?
Anyhow the demons hope you respond predictably as below…
Accept the nasty half truth they spit out.
Start feeling guilt. Shame. Self pity.
Accept the huge lie the devil sneaks in—“You can’t stop sinning.” (Of course you can. No matter how many demons are on your case. See how below).
Thankfully Jesus never lies.
So all that guff used against you above need never torment you anymore.
Seriously.
Apply what you learn below and you can't help but wipe out every devilish accusation and condemnation you ever face from now on…
First as foundation, Matthew shares this wonderful truth…
“You shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”
Matthew 1:21 ESV
Which means…
Actually in real every day life…. we are saved (free) forever from every single sin.
Freedom from all guilt and shame forever.
That said,
If Jesus dealt with it all by shedding His blood on the Cross at Golgotha…
And we accept by faith we are forgiven by repenting as the LORD instructs…
How come we still let ourselves get dragged under by the miserable thoughts of our sins? By the guilt and shame associated with them?
Well.
The answer to that dear one is easy…
The devil and his henchmen never shut up about them.
Day and night.
Accusing. Harassing… all of GOD’s children (Revelation 12:10).
So we see…
It’s not necessarily the sin we have hassle with (because we are forgiven when we repent as we saw in 1 John 1:8-10 above).
No, it’s our enemy taunting us about them.
That understood,
Our question now becomes…
How do we stop him?
How do we shut the devil and his tormentors up once and for all?
Glad you asked saint!
Like this.
You see, there is a very soft…
Very weak, vulnerable area of your enemies mind and emotions he does not want you to ever uncover.
And it’s this…
He KNOWS he’s never going to be forgiven.
Yet…
He knows YOU ALWAYS WILL BE FORGIVEN IF YOU SIMPLY REPENT.*
And.
This eternal truth…
Completely fills him with DREAD. Terror. Anxiety. Guilt. Shame. Remorse (He KNOWS he cannot EVER do anything to remove his sin… guilt, shame etc like ever!)
He is CONDEMNED forever.
And he knows it.
To back up what I just said here’s some proof…
Devils believe.
Devils have emotions. They fear. They tremble (shudder etc).
They KNOW they are NOT forgiven.
James says so clearly…
“You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!”
James 2:19 ESV
Now look at something very remarkable indeed.
Read it very carefully…
1. And Enoch went and said: 'Azâzêl,
Thou shalt have no peace: a severe sentence has gone forth against thee to put thee in bonds:
2. And thou shalt not have toleration nor †request† granted to thee, because of the unrighteousness which thou hast taught, and because of all the works of godlessness and unrighteousness and sin which thou hast shown to men.'
3. Then I went and spoke to them all together, and they were all afraid, and fear and trembling seized them.
4. And they besought me to draw up a petition for them that they might find forgiveness, and to read their petition in the presence of the Lord of heaven. 5. For from thenceforward they could not speak (with Him) nor lift up their eyes to heaven for shame of their sins for which they had been condemned.
6. Then I wrote out their petition, and the prayer in regard to their spirits and their deeds individually and in regard to their requests that they should have forgiveness and length (of days).
Book of Enoch Chapter 12: 1-6
To save us time...
What does this portion from the pseudepigraphical work of Enoch reveal to us?
That…
The ‘Watchers’ (father of the giants/demons) WANTED forgiveness from GOD.
They found themselves banished from His presence.
Also notice, their fear.
Their trembling.
Their shame.
So…
They desperately sought forgiveness and restoration to the holy presence of GOD.
Yet.
Our Father, the great and only True GOD… REFUSED them forgiveness.
But!
Eternally blessed soldier of the Most High :)
We, the mere children of dust…
HAVE been forgiven.
ALL our sins… gone.
Forever!
Which means…
Next time he comes to torment you about your sins,
Tell him this BIG TIME:
“Get this accuser, you wicked demon/s.
Never ever forget this…
Yes, I sinned. Yes I admit 100% it was wrong.
I have no one to blame, not even you with all your temptations, yet get this devil…
I REPENTED and asked the LORD Jesus Christ to forgive me.
And guess what?
HE DID!
In fact He’s washed all my sins away forever. They do not even exist now.
So now INSTEAD!
Let’s talk about YOUR SINS DEVIL.
My sins are forgiven.
Are yours?
NO!
Yours are not.
I’m forgiven. YOU ARE NOT.
And…
You know what devil.
It’s so lovely being in GODS presence all the time.
It’s great. I can go there any time I wish.
You can’t.
You are not allowed into the Holy of Holies.
I AM.
In fact, Jesus says I am SEATED IN THE HEAVENLY REALMS with Him in glory. (Ephesians 2:6)
Yup. Right there with Jesus and my wonderful Father.
It’s great. He’s given me His Holy Spirit too.
Next,
Let’s talk about your shame now.
You must feel so… wretched because your sin will never be forgiven! Your shame will cover you forever. You will NEVER EVER ESCAPE IT. How do you you feel about that enemy?
It must feel horrible to never ever be forgiven.
Oh dear.
As for me guess what demon/s..
Jesus saved me from my sins. You will never be saved from yours.
So,
In the Name of Jesus I rebuke you.
Leave, or will continue to remind you of this last FACT too.
Not only will you never be forgiven…
You are also going to be thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, prepared for the devil and all his angels... and the smoke of your torment shall rise up forever and ever.
In Jesus Name!
Amen!"
Okay.
I laboured that a bit, yet you get the idea saint.
Speak these truths against the evil ones accusing you.
Just keep hammering home these truths against them.
Boldly and out loud.
Then as you start reciting these powerful truths it takes anything from just a few seconds to maybe a minute or two* for all the accusing spirits to leave.
They just GO!
It's simply too harrowing for them to be faced up with their own sins! For someone to turn the tables on them. Then they start fearing being tormented about their sins by switched on saints of the Most High ;)
Hallelujah!
Now wonder therefore as the beloved James says plainly…
‘They too believe… and TREMBLE.”
James 2:19 KJV (Rough paraphrase)
So to finish up.
What you have just discovered today is kind of like…
Capturing one of your enemies best weapons in war.
And turning it right back on them.
Try it and you see for yourself
You will be unstoppable overcomer.
Unstoppable!
Bless you.
Dave.
PS To get the whole picture read chapter 12 and 13 of the Book of Enoch.
It gives you a real insight into the inner feelings of your foes.
Is it scripture?
No.
Don’t be silly,
Yet it does help illuminate what was common knowledge to the disciples of Jesus day.
That said,
The scriptures below agree with what we discussed today.
Use them also in your combat…
“My people shall never be put to shame.”
Joel 2:27 NKJV
“Let my accusers be clothed with shame, And let them cover themselves with their own disgrace as with a mantle.
PS 109:29 NKJV
Behold, at that time I will deal with all who afflict you; I will save the lame, And gather those who were driven out; I will appoint them for praise and fame in every land where they were put to shame.
Zephaniah 3:19 NKJV
“Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, And the dwelling place of the wicked will come to nothing.”
Job 8:22 NKJV
All His adversaries were put to shame; and all the multitude rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by Him.
Luke 13: 17 NKJV
PPS Oops! Nearly forgot chapter 10 of GBPFYL reveals how to actually walk in victory over every sin you will ever face too sin too.
Woah! Now there’s a claim eh ;)
How To Defeat Every Stubborn, Persistent Sin You Ever Face
FYI
If you’re not listening to this (Book of Enoch) you’re missing out saint. This starts at chapter twelve for you :)
*We are forgiven if we truly repent. 1 John 1:8-10, Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:14, 2:13 among other scriptures.
*If you find the spirits take longer to leave. Initially this is normal. They will try and hang on because they are trying to see if YOU really believe what you are saying. Once you do and enforce your authority in Christ against them, it is game over.
They leave.
As you experience and authority grows in Christ, leave faster still.
I just had to add this:
Philippians 1:28
[28] and not frightened in anything by your opponents. This is a clear sign to them of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God. (ESV)
In these last days, we are being called to save the remnants of the lost Gentiles. The fragrance of Christ will be with us to help prepare the way. Onward Christian soldiers!
