Morning overcomer,
As we step into glorious September and Rosh Hashanah lies just up ahead with all it’s promise of an open heaven and season of new beginnings…
I want you to have this.
A key I hope you find valuable.
For…
As you receive your new vision from GOD shortly.
(Or maybe in Rosh Hashanah as your old tired assignment suddenly gets supercharged, remade in GOD’s image… now in it’s resurrected form it will succeed).
Remember the old war time truth…
“Loose lips, sink ships.”
Keeping this phrase close to mind will save you much pain in the new season about to open up for you.
I say so because for saints who have GODs vision, empowered by Him for a special assignment, And anointed for a task no one else can do...
‘A loose tongue’ spells one thing only,
DISASTER.
Far too often I’ve suffered disaster from speaking prematurely concerning what GOD had revealed in private to me.
For up in the castle of darkness,
My big mouth silly talk has reached the ears of our powerful adversary.
And he sees my boasting,
My claims of what I will do for the LORD here, there… and everywhere.
Thus he comments to his generals…
“Oh he will, will he!”
Who then sends out his henchmen to their dastardly work.
Which sadly I admit,
Has smashed my feeble efforts to smithereens more times than I care to share.
His black horses of destruction come fast too.
Like lightning.
BOOM!
And everything is burnt down, before hardly starting.
Which is the point…
It’s okay having a vision from GOD.
It’s another thing establishing it in earth.
So…
Keep things close to your chest until you suss everything out. Until your plans are laid in GOD. And your foundation is nicely in. Until the right team is with you.
Until then.
Keep your vision close with you and one or two trusted prayer partners and advisors. Even then, speak quietly and request they be circumspect about it too.
Of course,
The great saints of both the Old and New Testament did the same thing didn’t they?
We see,
Nehemiah told no one: He went out at night so no one saw what he was doing in obedience to GOD’s vision. (Nehemiah 2:11)
Philip told no one: Despite it meaning leaving a successful revival overflowing with signs and wonders (Acts 8:4-40)
They acted decisively yet also wisely…
Quietly.
All that said,
It’s going to be a stunning September for you.
So get your assignment from the LORD this Rosh Hashanah, and run with it.
As you do may this never be said of you…
“You have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth.”
Proverbs 6:2 NIV
Bless you.
Dave
“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
Isaiah 43:19 ESV…
“Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect”
James 3:2 NIV
But on that same coin...if God tells you to go forth and tell everyone what He just spoke to you about...do NOT delay...tell everyone. Our #1 priority...is to do as God asks...and He will protect you.
Thank you for sharing!!
Yes, much depends upon timing - HIS TIMING!
