Hi overcomer, (as in the fashion of the mighty Lion of Judah :)
And yes I’ll admit, I’ve confessions to kick things off.
I’m late.
Stuff happens.
Your wife gets you out of it :)
To point one…
In the perfect world (of my mind), this was planned to go out Tuesday. It didn’t happen.
Not blaming King Charles III and his coronation or anything. Yet the extra bank holiday here did kind of bungle my routine.
No worries, we’re here now.
That said...
At times this past week felt like being with the disciples on Galilee... toiling against headwinds. Slow progress.
Of course...
Jesus was watching His loved ones below. No matter. Expert boatmen as they were they pressed on… but they found it was a hard slog.
“The sea became rough because a strong wind was blowing…”
John 6:18 ESV
Similar to me toiling away.
Why?
I kept trying to record the audio version of ‘The Strongest Prayer (by far)’ as I shared with you before.
In the end it got very silly…
I ended up even testing new AI synthetic voices because my own voice recordings came out so raspy. But, sigh… they were rubbish too ;)
That said…
I kept wondering why something so simple as recording a nine minute audio was proving so troublesome. After all. I’ve done passable enough audio before.
Yet that week of huffing and puffing got me nowhere.
So last night,
Enter the prophetess at last (thankfully!)
My good lady,
Who simply interrupted me (after laughing at my weird audio versions) saying…
“Dave, your prayer is not supposed to be an audio for people to listen to. It’s a prayer someone needs to activate by faith, by saying it out loud for themselves.
First they read and absorb it…
And by confessing it out loud, faith begins stirring in them. They believe it in their heart. Then the salvation the Word promises starts flourishing across all areas of their life.
The LORD will anoint THEIR confession of the prayer as they say it each morning on an ongoing basis.
You confess… and your heart starts to believe.
See how it works Dave :)"
Wow!
A few seconds of revelation...
Is worth weeks (even months, years) toiling against the headwinds of life eh? (Like when Jesus got in the boat, the disciples INSTANTLY arrived at the other side at their destination).
“He said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.” Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately… the boat was at the land.
John 6:20-21 ESV
Next she also reminded me…
“Dave, Jesus says ‘My yoke is easy… my burden is light’. (Matthew 11:30)
Whenever things get stuck, ask yourself... is this burden light? If not, it might not be what Jesus wants you to do at this time.”
Blessed marvellous woman!
After she spoke...
Peace and joy filled me again. I slept happy.
And so to you saint.
This means…
Sorry, I don't have an audio version for you.
However as promised…
The PDF of this prayer with every scripture added is ready for you.
It’s by far the most powerful prayer I’ve ever prayed.
And it makes an awesome Bible study too. Simply take each section at a time, study and embed the scriptures in your heart.
Do that in addition to ‘working out’ with this prayer once a day... and before you know it, your enemy will find it very hard to overcome you.
That's because dear overcomer…
You will be the one overcoming him every single time.
Notes to self...
Listen to wife. She ridiculously often has the 'Word of the Lord' (Unerringly accurate too)... so pay attention Alston :)
Step aside from your work often. Check your spirit, ask ‘is this a burden or a delight?’ Keep your down times. Reflection time.
Stay in your lane. Stay in your gift. Write son. Write!
And what about you saint?
Have you got someone who is like the 'Urim and Thummim' close to you?
Could be your beloved.
Maybe an aged saint. A grandmother in the LORD? An old intercessor who GOD raised up to pray for you.
Or perhaps a prayer partner.
No matter.
Find that one.
Seek them out. Treasure them.
Because…
Hearing the Word of the LORD saves you so much hassle.
You instantly pass over ‘rough seas.’
And reach the shore of your divine appointment.
May the LORD send you, your special friend who knows the voice of the Urim and Thummim too.
Bless you.
Dave.
PS The scripture my wife gave me last night applies to everything across your life…
Confess > Believe > Faith comes > Fruit grows!
“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved*”
Romans 10: 8-9 ESV
*[Experience multi-domain salvation across life - Dave]
PPS Don’t know what the Urim and Thummim are?
Okay.
