Update: My wife rapture news

And dream she finally gets

He is eternal…

Therefore… so are you :)

Cool eh!

And this talk of lofty eternal things brings me to some news.

Nothing less than…

The rapture of you and I.

Up, up and AWAY!

Of course,

As for me and my house ‘we shall serve the LORD.’

Yet strangely enough…

My beloved and I, differ hugely on all sorts of things…

• Thoughts.

• Views.

• Politics.

Things we hate, things we love.

Chalk and cheese describes us well.

That said,

In over thirty six years of marriage so far I’ve discovered (as you well know)… That when my wife “get’s something from the LORD”…

She’s rarely wrong.*

So imagine my wonder when just over a week ago she smiled gently at me and said…

“We’re going to be in the rapture Dave.”

Well,

You could have knocked me over with a feather!

Yet her utterance agreed spot on with a dream I had of the rapture too.

Basically,

Five years ago I dreamed our family were all raptured together…

(We were walking through the City of Lancaster, when… whoosh... it happened!

Up, UP and Away.

Mind blown on wake up for sure ;)

And of course, over breakfast…

I told my wife.

She looked at me and I knew the expression…

“Okay Dave. Fine. Another one of your dreams eh? ;)“

And ever so sweetly changed the subject.

For at that time…

End Times. Rapture stuff etc… was just not her ‘thing’ (no doubt in part to me banging on about the ‘Mark of the Beast’ etc for thirty odd years!)…

Yet now…

She tells me we will be in the rapture?

Nice indeed :)
