Don't forget Romans 8:28! Once you get old enough (70 is a start), a different view can emerge. Enough time goes by and you can start to see how things ultimately work out. Many things that seemed to be mistakes turn out not to be mistakes after all.

Before she passed away at 86, my mother testified that all her prayers (for her family) came to pass. I required many years before she could say that.

As for me, everything experienced, all my labors, actions and decisions, were all necessary and required, all the "good, bad, and the ugly" from a senses point of view. So, learn from all you do and experience. Don't be judgmental and hard on yourself - that is the job of the adversary (don't do his work for him). Stay faithful, and I trust you will be amazed at how everything works out in the end.

Thanks Keith!

Very encouraging to me, and more and more I see how all our work in GOD is really only just beginning... because it shall never finish... after all we kick off with the 1000 year reign of Christ from Jerusalem and then have the whole of eternity to go at!

In a sense, I more and more think this life is almost like 'prep school' for our life to come.

Apparently in some parts of society in Japan, they don't even really consider you really have grown out of 'childhood' until you are sixty! Then you get going on your 'proper work.'

We are all just 'young pups' in Jesus eh Keith ;)

Thanks for your thoughtful input.

Bless you.

Dave.
